Tata Africa Holdings (Ghana) participates in inaugural India Show in Accra

Tata Africa Holdings (Ghana) participated in the first-ever India Show 2012, an initiative organised in the capital city of Ghana, Accra, by the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The event, themed Showcasing India in the 21st Century, was held on 9th – 11th July, 2012. This initiative was led by Anand Sharma, minister of commerce and textile, government of India, and Hannah

Tata's stall at the exhibition was positioned at the entrance, and it showcased brands such as the Indica Vista, Sumo, Xenon, Ace Container, Ace Bucket and a range of buses. It aimed to directly meet customers from the different West African countries where Tata Ghana operates. Vivek Saraswat, GM, Tata Ghana, was also present at the company's stall and interacted with the ministers

The latest brands – the Manza and Ace Garbage Compactor – were displayed too, and the team took the opportunity to share insights into current and upcoming Tata products

Potential buyers showed great interest in the products that were showcased. The fair gave Tata Ghana the opportunity to gain better understanding of the market needs of corporate entities and the visiting public. It also provided a platform to interact directly with customers from Burkina Faso and Togo, where it intends to start its business operations in the near future.
