On 10th July 2014, Tata Africa Holdings Tanzania opened up its doors in Arusha, to the newly built state-of-the-art Tata Motors showroom and in another area, a well-equipped workshop, spares parts sales facility, which also houses Agri and Chemicals. This was done to enable the business to better service its customers in Automobiles, Industrial Chemicals and Agri Products.
The facilities would not only enable the company to serve and respond to its customers better but also create employment opportunities in the region. The branch would also boost customers' confidence while buying any product ensuring availability of spare parts, stock and better services.
It is envisaged that the branch would open window of opportunities for our other businesses such as Glass and Steel.
The Arusha branch was inaugurated by the Arusha district Ward Councilor, and attended by government officials, Xavier Gobille – Executive Director for Auto and Allied, TAHTL management, representative of Tata Motors and over 80 existing and potential customers.
Three key customers in the Arusha region were also recognised by TAHTL management at the event.
